There are many reasons why you might choose to invoice a client instead of requiring payment up front. Whether you want them to preview the photos first or allow them to pay you by check, invoicing for an order is a very helpful tool for you and your client. You can make this change for all of your clients or only a select few; it's up to you!
How to invoice your clients

For all clients:
Step 1: Go to your Business Default Settings
Step 2: Go to the Billing Options section
Step 3: Select "Clients Pay When the Order is Complete"
For certain clients:
Step 1: Go to Client Summary
Step 2: Select "Must Invoice" or "Prefer to Invoice" under Billing Option
Step-by-step:
For all clients -
Step 1: Click on the Business tab at the top of the page then the Default Settings tab on the left-hand side.
Step 2: Scroll down to the Billing Options section.
Step 3: Click the checkbox next to "Clients Pay When the Order is Complete" to enable invoicing for all of your clients.
For certain clients -
Step 1: Click on the Clients tab at the top of the page and search for a specific client. Click on their name to be taken to their Client Summary.
Step 2: On the Billing Option drop-down menu, select either "Must Invoice" or "Prefer to Invoice" to allow this client to be invoiced instead of pay at the time of the order.
