If you work with a large brokerage that has multiple offices or locations, then setting up a Group Family could be great for you.  This would allow you to set up a Parent Group, with multiple groups beneath it.  This is especially ideal if you have multiple group admins or want to set up special pricing for the different offices.

How to create a group family

Click the steps below for a detailed walk-through:

    Step 1: Click the Groups tab

    Step 2: Click "Create a New Group"

    Step 3: Fill out Group Contact Info

    Step 4: Click "Save Updates"

    Step 5: Repeat steps 1-3

    Step 6: Choose Parent Group in Group Configuration

    Step 7: Click "Save Updates"

    Step 8: Click Group Family tab


Step 1: Click the Groups tab at the top of the page.

Step 2: To create the Parent Group, click the "Create a New Group" button.

Step 3: Fill out as much of the Group Contact Info section as you can.  Note: you will see a Parent Group drop-down menu in the Group Configuration section.  You won't need to select anything there for the Parent Group.  You will use this for the "child" groups.

Step 4: Click the "Save Updates" button to create your Parent Group.

Step 5: Repeat steps 1 through 3 to create a "child" group.

Step 6: In the Group Configuration section, click the Parent Group drop-down menu.  Type or select the Parent Group that you created.

Step 7: Click the "Save Updates" button.

Step 8: If you click the Group Family tab on the left-hand side, you will now see your Parent Group and any "child" groups that you have placed below it.
