Client Tip Email Notifications are here - this new feature will make it easier to stay on top of tips! With this feature, you can now enable automated emails to notify team members when they receive a tip. You also have the option to receive notifications yourself! This helps ensure everyone is informed and appreciated in real time. Check out the steps below on how to enable these notifications.


How to enable client tip email notifications


Click the steps below for a detailed walk-through:


    Step 1: Click the Business tab

    Step 2: Click the Default Settings tab

    Step 3: Scroll to the Billing Options section

    Step 4: Click the checkbox to 'Email Team Member(s) when Client Leaves Tip', if needed

    Step 5: Click the checkbox to 'Email Business Owner when Client Leaves Tip', if needed 

    Step 6: Click 'Save Changes'



Step-by-step:


Step 1: Click the Business tab at the top of the page.


Step 2: Click the Default Settings tab on the left-hand side of the page.


Step 3: Scroll down to the Billing Options section.


Step 4: Below the Tip settings, you will now see an option to 'Email Team Member(s) when Client Leaves Tip'.  Click the checkbox to enable sending of the Client Tip Email Notification to your Team Members.


Step 5: Additionally, you can choose to also (or only) receive the Client Tip Email Notification.  Click the checkbox for 'Email Business Owner when Client Leaves Tip' to receive those notifications yourself.  Note: if your tips are set up with the Business 'Tip Payout Mode', only the Business Owner can be notified by email when a tip has been made.


Step 6: Scroll to the bottom of the page and click 'Save Changes'.  Your Team Members and/or yourself will now receive an email notification whenever a Client leaves a tip on an order!
